A dynamic network in the Netherlands with 70 member companies, representing branches from the top Danish export pillars: Fashion & Design, Shipping & Logistics, Green Energy, Wholesome Food and Pharmaceuticals. All members represent, import or trade Danish products and services or simply have a soft spot for the Danish way of life.
With 5 events a year the club offers a variety of exclusive presentations and an insight in business areas that matter right now. Members are encouraged to bring customers or colleagues and get some fresh impulses and a new network. Or to be a host: invite the club for a visit and show some tricks from the trade.
Events in the past years included
- Danish Fashion in the Netherlands, a visit to fashion forum Brandboxx in Almere
- SAIL Amsterdam 2010, a private boat trip on the opening day
- Søren Lerby, on Football and Business
- Traditional Danish Christmas buffet filled with Danish delicacies
- New Years reception at the residence of the Danish ambassador with following dinner dance
- Exclusive viewing of Danish Oscar winning movie in theatre Tuschinski
DDBC is also often invited by the Scandinavian colleagues in the Netherlands, Swedish Chamber of Commerce and the Finnish Dutch Trade Guild, who in the past arranged CEO presentations from Nokia, Ikea and Spyker SAAB .
Network activities include a LinkedIn group serving members with news updates from the Trade department of the Danish Embassy in the Hague, recruitment and advertisement possibilities.
