Fantastic event at Saxo Bank

On 2 March, BBCs hosted a very interesting and inspiring event where economic expert Mr. Christian Blaabjerg from Saxo Bank gave a very inspiring speech on the economic outlook for the business environment in a global perspective.

Mr. Blaabjerg, who daily is Chief Equity Strategist at Saxo Bank, managed to give a clear picture of the economic situation in a European and global perspective and gave the audience insight into what we can expect in the future.

We are in a deep crisis and have not yet seen the bottom of each market. Ireland, Spain and Greece are all countries that are suffering extensively from the crisis – not only because of their large deficits, but also from the challenges of increasing unemployment rates. E.g. the unemployment rate in Spain has reached 25 per cent. Besides this Mr. Blaabjerg also draw the picture of each of the Benelux countries

Mr. Blaabjerg also pointed out that the interest rate and inflation rate are crucial to how countries will cope with future economic challenges. From his perspective it is difficult to imagine that the interest rate will rice to what we have seen previous, the reason for this is that a lot of people has obtained loan these years and by increasing the interest extremely in order to stop the inflation this can have huge impact on a lot of the countries.

After the Speak of Mr. Blaabjerg, it was time to network in the fantastic domicile of Saxo Bank. Saxo Bank had made a fantastic attractive buffet to the delight of the attendees.
