Event hosted by Brussels Airlines
It was a fantastic early summer evening, when the BBC held an event in a Copenhagen Oasis more precisely the Kong Arthur Hotel.
About 30 members had devoted time to attend this exciting event. The event started with easy networking between participants, and subsequently the time had come to hear an interesting lecture from Gabriella Lunde, a BBCs member from Brussels Airlines.
The presentation was divided into two sections.
The first was on how Belgian airlines Sabena went bankrupt, and subsequently rose from the ashes as Brussels Airlines – and how the Airline was formerly publicly owned whereas it is today mainly owned by private investors.
The second presentation was on ‘how to run an airline in Africa’. This presentation was incredibly entertaining and really gave all participants insight into cultural diversity.
After the lecture it was time for networking and a light buffet. The event ended at 8 pm and all members had had a good evening with the exchange of business cards.
